FAU is known as a strong, interdisciplinary research university. The University is also very international and cosmopolitan. This means that we are always interested in receiving visitors, creating new contacts and reinforcing our existing collaborations with top universities. Employee mobility is considered an effective method of contributing to internationalisation.
Exchange agreements with our partner universities provide teaching opportunities for teaching employees at partner institutions. Training opportunities are also available for teaching and non-teaching staff employed at other higher education institutions, provided there is availability at the department or unit that is to be visited and the timing suits FAU’s academic calendar.
