FAU awarded 3.1 million euros in funding for high-resolution X-ray microscope.

Researchers have made an important breakthrough by identifying four key subtypes of pancreatic cancer in a new study. Each subtype has its own unique clinical characteristics and is associated with a different chance of survival.

Junior professor Dr. Aline Bozec has received the most important award for young researchers in Germany from the German Research Foundation (DFG). The biochemist will be presented with the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize – which is worth 20,000 euros – in Bonn on 18 May 2016.
